Orange team Color War reports
Color war!!! Yay! I so love color war! In the last two days I have had so much fun! I am so proud of everyone - Orange Pirates and Blue Ninjas alike. It has been so great to have seen the teams try their best. They have really pulled together and worked hard. I truly believe that it has brought everyone closer together and has been an awesome learning experience.
Color war has been phenomenal for me. Since day one I have been working so hard at camp. I have given my all. Color war, my idea of it, scared me to begin with. I thought "Oh no, I will not do well". Although as we started signing up for the events I got more excited. I decided to focus hard on one event a day and then do my best to help wherever I was needed later. I climbed Mt. Baker the first day and rocked it. I didn't win, but I made it to the top which was victory enough. The second day I ran a 5k. I paced myself as I had practiced, and sprinted at the end. I pushed myself to the limit, again victory! I look forward to tomorrow's soccer tournament. I will be exhausted but it will be good for me. I am so happy to see how far I've come. Color war has shown me that my hard work pays off. Victory!

I never thought that color war could be so much fun. I absolutely love it and wish it could last longer. I've done things in color war that I couldn't possibly do before, and you don't even realize what you've accomplished until after. We've done so much stuff like Capture the flag using the whole campus; a track meet with a 5k (which I completed), high jump, 100 yard sprint; a relay and a water balloon catapult. We also did a rope burn, a yoga challenge, a legit triathlon in Lake Placid, a dance off and much more. You don't even realise how much exercise you're getting because it's so much fun! Sadly this is the last day for color war but I will definitely remember all the things I've accomplished in it.
